SVHS Tiered Interventions SPARTAN SUPPORT RE-ENGAGEMENT STEPS EXPLAINED TIER 1 Teacher & office notify student/parent Email sent home to student/parent (English & Spanish) May recommend on campus learning (*if remote) May recommend tutoring TIER 2 Counselor call to parent Email sent home to student/parent (English & Spanish) Required on campus learning (*if remote) Required tutoring TIER 3 Office schedule Counselor meeting Student & parent sign academic contract Mandatory extra instructional time Time w/ teacher/tutor Virtual IF needed 3 days on campus attendance recommended Meeting with Administrator NOTE: Student can “slide” back to Tier 2 if deemed necessary to accomplish goals of previous Tier NOTE: Academic Contract will be reviewed & updated, if needed, at the end of each grading quarter TIER 4 Student MAY be transferred, per Tier 3 contract & previous intervention efforts
