SEL Events
9/12: Virtual Meet & Greet (10-12pm)
Karla and I will have an open zoom room to chat with students and introduce ourselves.

9/13: Building Connections Workshop (11-12pm)
This workshop will focus on building rapport with students.
9/14: Building Connections Pt. 2 (11-12pm)
This workshop will give students the opportunity to make connections with one another and enjoy yummy food.
9/15: Virtual Building Connections Workshop (11-12pm)
This will be the same one as 9/13 event but virtual for students unable to attend in-person.
Note: At each of these events there will be a raffle where students will be entered to win a super cool prize.
Suicide Prevention Awareness Events
9/8: Heart Wall Post-it Note (10-11AM)
Students and staff will have the opportunity to answer 1 of 2 prompts and write their response on a sticky note. At the end of the event we will create a heart representing support for suicide prevention month. Students can come and go anytime between 10-11am.
Origami Crane Activity (10-11AM)
Students and staff will have the opportunity to create an origami crane while having a conversation with us about how we can support suicide prevention at Sierra Vista. Creations will be displayed at the Student Wellness Center.
The location for all of these events will be in room 300 the Student Wellness Center.
Virtual Chats with Mrs. C
Every Monday from 10-12pm, I will have virtual office hours that will serve as walk-in visits for students who are not on campus. If you have a student during that time in need of a check-in, please sign their ID # on the excel sheet and provide the zoom link. If the student does not log-in during their slot time, I will give them a call.
